About Us
The workshop was established some 50 years ago as a tailoring and cutting workshop by Iride Ghilardi. At the beginning of 2023, the business was sold to Irene, who takes on Iride’s employees with great pleasure.The dedication to work and the harmony among the workers is for the new owner a drive to do her best to carry on the project undertaken. From these promises and from Irene’s personal and work background, “Project” was born, which aims to be an inclusive, sustainable, person-centered workshop with a focus on the work done Today, within the workshop are workers of different ages, from different nations, each with a fashion culture characteristic of their place of origin.

I am Irene Pezzotta, owner of the “Progetto” workshop.
I graduated at Politecnico di Milano after an intership at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
I worked at Loro Piana and Trussardi as a knitwear technician and product development office manager.
Being an entrepreneur is quite a challenge, a constant balancing act between what needs to be left as it is and what needs to be innovated.
